Dried Green Lipped Mussels by Hooper Ruff is 100% Queensland sourced seafood that is carefully selected, dried on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia.

 

There is growing evidence that green-lipped mussels contain nutrients that are beneficial to dogs with arthritis. These nutrients have anti-inflammatory and joint-protective properties, so green-lipped mussels may reduce pain and swelling as well as support joint repair.

 

Green lipped mussels contain glycosaminoglycans which serve to maintain supple and strong joints and help the body repair cartilage. Another component of green lipped mussels is eicosatetraenoic acid (ETA) which is a form of omega 3. ETA helps prevent inflammation in joints. It doesn’t end there either, as lyprinols and anti oxidants are also found in green lipped mussels which further aid joint health in dogs & cats.

 

These dried mussels come in a 100g lined black food grade cannister, which is perfect to store in the pantry or fridge. The unique design locks freshness in, keeping your mussels delicious for 9 months.

 

In general, you'll want to give your dog 10 to 30g of green lipped mussels daily.

Australian chicken meat, Vegetable glycerine, Australian lamb meat, Amino acids, Vitamins and minerals (Vit C, A, D3, B, Thiamine, Calcium, Iron, Zinc), Salt, Potassium sorbate (Natural preservative).

Dog Chocolate Ingredients

Carob powder, coconut oil, rice flour, honey, and natural flavours.

HOW MUCH TO FEED

Dogs should be fed treats in moderation, ideally no more than 10% of their daily caloric intake, with portions based on their weight. Smaller dogs need fewer, smaller treats, while larger dogs can have slightly bigger portions, but always ensure treats don't lead to overfeeding or weight gain.

EXPIRY

This will last up to 9 months after being opened.

  • Not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item.

Send us back your item within a reasonable time (14 days) after purchase and provide Hooper Ruff with proof of purchase, such as your original Hooper Ruff receipt or bank statement.
