Plated Collar Hardware

Silicone Hardware

  • Made from high-quality silicone.
  • Available in various colours and shapes.
  • Waterproof: Perfect for dogs that enjoy swimming or frequently get wet, as silicone does not absorb water or corrode.
  • Lightweight: Comfortable for dogs to wear, especially smaller breeds or those sensitive to heavier materials.
  • Not Suitable for Rough Environments: Silicone hardware can be damaged by sharp objects, rough play, or intense outdoor activities, making it less durable in rugged conditions.


Brass Hardware

  • Made from solid brass, a durable and corrosion-resistant metal.
  • Often has a natural, warm golden hue.
  • Waterproof: Brass hardware is highly resistant to water and will not rust, making it ideal for dogs that swim or are frequently exposed to wet environments.
  • Durable: Brass can withstand heavy use and is perfect for highly active dogs that enjoy outdoor adventures.
  • Long-lasting: Known for its strength and longevity, brass hardware maintains its integrity and appearance over time, even with rigorous use.

 

Each type of hardware offers unique advantages, making it essential to choose based on your dog's activity level, environment, and personal style preferences.

 

How To Assemble:

We have you covered. It's simple to assemble new hardware and only takes a few minutes. We will send out your new hardware and an instruction manual on how to replace the hardware on your Hooper Ruff products.

  • Plated Hardware:  Perfect for indoor and low-maintenance dogs, with upgrade options available. It may require more maintenance. Doesn't tolerate salt water and could be less durable than solid metal options.
  • Silicone Hardware:  Ideal for dogs that occasionally enjoy water and the park, however not suitable for very active dogs. Offers durability and waterproof properties. This hardware is delicate does scratch when in dense bushland.
  • Brass Hardware:  Perfect for active dogs who like rough play, regular swims, playing in water and bushland. Is resistant to rust and corrosion, ensuring that the hardware remains in good condition even in humid or wet environments.
  • All collars and leashes come with standard plated hardware.

Hooper Ruff collars are designed for longevity. Easily upgrade or replace parts and follow these instructions.

EASY RETURNS

OUR HASSLE-FREE RETURNS POLICY:

You are entitled to a refund for items you purchase from Hooper Ruff if the item is:

  • Faulty and the fault or defect was not pointed out to you before you purchased it or would not have been apparent to you when you inspected the goods before purchase; or
  • Not 'of merchantable quality', meaning that it is not of the quality that you reasonably expected when you purchased it, bearing in mind the way the item was described to you before your purchase and also the price of the item; or
  • Not fit for its purpose, meaning that the item does not do what you reasonably expected it would,

 

And you return the item within a reasonable time (14 days) after purchase and provide Hooper Ruff with proof of purchase, such as your original Hooper Ruff receipt or bank statement. If you do not return the item within a reasonable time, you will not be entitled to a refund of the purchase price but you will be entitled to exchange the goods or have them repaired.

 

Hooper Ruff reserves the right to ask you to demonstrate that you did not cause or create the fault in the item.

If you are entitled to a refund but you would prefer to exchange the item of equivalent value to the item, Hooper Ruff is happy to exchange instead of a refund.

Hooper Ruff is not legally obliged to give refunds of the purchase price or gift cards on items, or exchange them, simply because you have changed your mind about the purchase.
